Our third graders in Mrs. Lynch's class are diving deep into multiplication, and today they demonstrated how confidently they can show and explain the different ways they use order and grouping to solve problems.
Students explored arrays, equal groups, skip-counting, and number lines and discovered how changing the order of factors can make problems easier to solve. Seeing them discuss their strategies, justify their thinking, and make connections between models shows just how much their math reasoning is growing.
