Students work in class.

Students in Ms. Marton's second grade class participated in an engaging collaborative phonics activity that got everyone moving and thinking! Using the Stand Up, Hands Up, Pair Up strategy, students found new partners to work on identifying short and long vowel sounds.

This interactive approach encouraged active participation, teamwork and communication as students discussed their thinking and built on each other’s ideas. The room was filled with energy, smiles and great conversations as learning came to life through collaboration.
