THE SECRET IS OUT! Students at Martin Road Elementary will be reading Judy Moody Was In A Mood by Megan McDonald for the One School, One Book initiative. The big reveal took place in a school-wide kick off assembly hosted by Mrs. Andreozzi.
Mrs. Andreozzi reviewed with the students how to set and achieve reading goals as well as important reading strategies to continue being successful readers. For one final surprise, SRO Kwiatkowski brought along his friends, the Steelerman and Teddy the Tiger to join in on a special preview read aloud of the novel.
All students received a copy of Judy Moody Was In A Mood as well as a Family Fun Packet, containing the reading schedule and fun, family-centered activities and recipes. The reading fun will continue in school with daily trivia questions and fun theme days throughout the month of March.
