Martin Road Elementary School Second Grade Teacher, Melissa Dillon, was given the great honor of being selected as a New York State Master Teacher for the Western New York Region at Buffalo State University. Teachers that are selected for this honor show excellence in the classroom and a passion for education, helping to grow the NYS education system and shaping the minds of their students.
Buffalo State University characterizes this program as, “a collaboration among the selected outstanding k-12 STEM educators, whereby they develop expertise in the areas of content, pedagogy, and students' families and communities.”
The induction ceremony will be held on Jan. 10 at the Buffalo State Campus in the Science and Math Complex.
