Martin Road Elementary School students did a little throwback to connect music and Black History Month. Students practiced some very simple movements that have been associated with famous Motown songs and artists.
Pictured is the "Stop hand." This may be famously connected to the song "Stop in the Name of Love" sung by Diana Ross and the Supremes. Other movements the students practiced included the "Shoop," the "Jackson turn," the "Grapevine," and the "Slide."
Happy beat, happy feet. Thanks, Motown, for the fun music!
